Super-Insulated New Homes

Amount:

Up to $10,000

Who is Eligible:

New Home Owners

Description:

New super-insulated homes rated at EnerGuide 85 or greater qualify for up to $10,000.

Steps to Get this Rebate:

1. Contact a Natural Resources Canada certified energy advisor to schedule an energy assessment of the building plans.

2. Once the new home is built, you must schedule a second assessment to determine the final EnerGuide Rating for New Homes.

3. Once the EnerGuide rating label is received, you complete and submit the application form.

4. The following must be provided with the application form to get the incentive:

-a copy of the new home EnerGuide label showing ≥50% improvement target over a NBC 2015 code home, and
-a copy of the occupancy permit.
