
The Property Tax Increase Cancellation Program allows eligible residents of the city of Toronto to cancel the increase on their property taxes from the previous year.
Note: The definition of "senior" in this program includes only people who at least 65 years and people between the ages of 60 and 64 who receive certain benefits under the Old Age Security Act.

How to Apply
Complete this Tax & Water Relief Application Form and submit your application before the deadline.
If you received a cancellation before as a result of a previous successful application, you can continue to apply each year.

Complementary Grants
Property Tax Increase Deferral Program
This program allows eligible residents (low-income seniors or disabled people) of the city of Toronto to apply for increments on their property taxes to be deferred.
Water Rebate Program (City of Toronto)
This program allows eligible residents (low-income seniors or disabled people) of the city of Toronto to apply for a water rebate if they use less than 400 m³ of water yearly.
