York Homebuyer Assistance Program

Description:

The York Homebuyer Assistance Program (YHAP) offers services to help first-time homebuyers in York County, or people who have not owned a home in the past three years, by providing funds toward a down payment and closing costs, as well as one-on-one counseling. Income-eligible individuals may qualify for up to $5,000 (York County) or up to 8 percent of the sales price (York City), not to exceed $7,000, toward the down payment and closing costs.
