Who is Eligible:
We’ll pay a one-time rebate, equivalent to 20 per cent of eligible costs to a maximum payment of $20,000, for a new grid interconnected net metering project.
Steps to Get this Rebate:
1. You enroll in the Net Metering Program
-Contact SaskPower or your local electricity provider for more information about the Net Metering Program
-Submit the Application for Net Metering and Preliminary Interconnection Study form to conduct an interconnection study for your system and apply for the Net Metering Rebate.
-Note: For Saskatoon Light & Power and City of Swift Current electricity customers, submit the Initial Application for SaskPower Net Metering Rebate form and send it to the SaskPower address identified at the top of the form.
2. You apply for the rebate
-Once the bi-directional meter is installed, obtain and complete the Final Application for SaskPower Net Metering Rebate form.
3. We’ll review the receipts submitted for eligibility, calculate the rebate payment amount (rebate payment is calculated at 20 per cent of eligible receipts, not including GST) and submit the rebate to you.
