Description:
This is for upgrades in insulation levels of an existing home’s walls, foundation/crawlspace, and/or ceiling. A basic insulation upgrade (+R10 to R19) is calculated at $0.50/sf. A high performance insulation (=R20) upgrade is calculated at $2.00/sf.
Steps to Get this Rebate:
1. Contact a Natural Resources Canada certified energy advisor to schedule the energy assessments.
2. Complete and submit the application form on your behalf.
3. The following must be provided with the application form to get the incentive:
-a copy of the itemized renovation receipts,
-a copy of the two energy assessment receipts, and
-a copy of the initial and final energy assessment.
