Eco-Roof Incentive Program

The Eco Roof Incentive Program provides grants for structural assessments and the installation of “green” roofs.

Amount:

up to $100,000

Who is Eligible:

Property owners with green or cool roofs project

Description:

Since 2009, the City’s Eco-Roof Incentive Program has helped fund the installation of more than250 green and cool roofs on buildings across the city. Eligible green roof projects will receive $100 / square metre up to a maximum of $100,000. Eligible cool roof projects will receive $2 – 5 / square metre up to a maximum of $50,000. Applications are currently being accepted for residential, industrial, commercial and institutional buildings. Please submit your application before work on the roof commences.

3. Apply using the online Application Form

    I live in Long Sault Ontario and I am enquiring if I install an Eco Roof on my home do I qualify for any incentive programs for any rebates for this area? Please reply by email.
