BC Home Renovation Rebate Program

Amount:

up to $1,400

Who is Eligible:

Residential FortisBC natural gas and/or BC Hydro customer or a residential FortisBC or municipal electricity customer

Description:

This Program provides a wide variety of high-efficiency upgrades to help homeowners make it easy to reduce their ongoing energy costs, and improve the comfort of their home. Rebates are available for insulation, as well as ventilation and space and water heating upgrades (including ENERGY STAR certified products).

Steps to Get this Rebate:

1. Review the terms and conditions.
2. Decide what eligible upgrades are best suited for your home and budget with help from your program-qualified Energy Advisor and/or contractor.
3. Complete the application and include a copy of your invoice(s) showing details of all work performed, including the purchase date, make, model and installation permit numbers (if applicable).
If you’re the registered property owner:
complete the Home Renovation Rebate application
If you’re the registered property owner but are not the utility account holder:
complete the Home Renovation Rebate application and also have the account holder(s) sign the Utility Account Holder Consent and have them send it separately from your application
4. Send completed application and supporting documentation to:
