Attainable Home Ownership Program

Who is Eligible:

Low-income household

Description:

Attainable Homes Calgary Corporation (AHCC) is a nonprofit social enterprise and wholly owned subsidiary of The City of Calgary that delivers well-appointed, entry-level homes for Calgarians who have been caught in the city’s growing housing affordability gap. Through our Attainable Home Ownership Program, we connect builders, developers, lenders, lawyers and others to bring down the upfront costs of ownership so qualifying Calgarians can buy their very own home with a $2,000 down payment.

Steps to Get this Rebate:

1. Get in Touch: Complete our confidential online registration form to let us know who you are, what you’re looking for and whether you fit our criteria as an Attainable Homes customer. We also use this information to get a better understanding of what we should be considering when building new attainable homes. Take us up on this remarkable opportunity today and… get in touch.
2. Get Educated: Once you’ve submitted your registration form, we want to ensure you know the basics of being a new home owner. This second step covers all the basics: the Attainable Homes story; the lending and legal partners we’ve enlisted to help you; and the straight-up advice on why it makes so much financial sense to invest in yourself instead of your landlord.
3. Get your Mortgage: You’re almost home. Now that you’ve met the criteria for participation in our program and you’ve taken part in our information session, it’s time to get pre-qualified for your mortgage. Here you’ll get connected with a preferred Attainable Homes lender of your choice, who will work to craft a mortgage that’s just right for your unique situation.

When the Rebate Ends:
