Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways Program
For initiatives including smart renewable energy and grid modernization, the Smart Renewables and Electrification Pathways Program (SREPs) offers up to $964 million over four years. This programme will considerably cut greenhouse gas emissions by promoting the substitution of renewable energy sources for electricity produced using fossil fuels and supporting Canada’s equitable transition to an electrified economy.
