Mercedes-Benz Canada Introduces the Affordable EQB 250 SUV: Electric Luxury with Expanded Seating Options for Fall 2023

This fall, Mercedes-Benz Canada unveils the 2023 EQB 250 SUV – a more affordable sibling to last year’s EQB 350 SUV. Priced at a base MSRP of $59,990, the EQB 250 not only qualifies for the federal iZEV $5,000 purchase incentive but also several provincial benefits.

Touted as a “practical luxury SUV”, the front-wheel drive EQB 250 will be accessible at Canadian dealerships soon. Under its hood is a 70.5 kWh battery boasting a 394-kilometre range. The electric powertrain delivers 188 horsepower and 284 lb/ft of torque, capping its speed at 160 km/h. A fast charge from 10% to 80% requires just 32 minutes at its peak DC charging speed of 100 kW.

The EQB 250 can comfortably seat five passengers, but an upgrade option allows for a third-row, increasing the capacity to seven. For added cargo space, the third-row seats can be integrated seamlessly into the floor.

For those seeking more refinement and functionality, Mercedes provides five enhancement packages, including an optional panoramic sunroof. The EQB 250’s exterior design features LED bands at both ends, seamlessly blending into a black-panel grille. A touch of blue within the headlights emphasizes the distinct Mercedes-Benz electric look.
