Toilet Replacement Rebate Program

Province/Territory: British Columbia (Coquitlam)

Rebate Amount: $100

Description: Get a rebate of $100 for each toilet replaced with a new ultra low flow model, up to a maximum of two toilets per residential dwelling.

Conditions:
  • The toilet must have been purchased and installed after July 29, 2004
  • The rebate does not apply to Metered customers
  • Qualifying toilet must have a flushing capacity greater than 13 litres

Steps to Get This Rebate:

  1. Fill out the application form.
  2. Application forms must include:
  • Detailed receipt, dated after July 29, 2004, for purchase of low flow toilet.
  • Photo of old toilet in place.
  • Photo of old toilet removed with tank broken.
  • Photo of new toilet in place.
  1. Drop off or mail the application to Engineering and Public Works, Customer Service, 3000 Guildford Way, Coquitlam, B.C., V3B 7N2.
  2. The application will be forwarded to the City's Water Conservation Coordinator for review.
  3. The Water Conservation Coordinator will determine if the application is in conformance and will authorize payment to the applicant by cheque requisition. The cheque will be sent to the applicant via Canada Post.
