Seniors and persons with disabilities

Description:

The regular tax deferment program is a low interest loan program that allows you to defer paying all or part of your property taxes on your principal residence if you are 55 or older, a surviving spouse of any age or a person with disabilities.

Steps to Get this Rebate:

1. Complete the application and agreement. The agreement must be signed by all registered owners, but only you, the qualified applicant, need to complete the application form downloadable on the website.

2. Submit your application with original signatures to the office that sent your property tax notice (not the Tax Deferment Office), along with:

a. your completed home owner grant application (if you qualify)
b. any required supporting documentation
