To all homeowners out there: I suggest you borrow one of these power monitors, plug it in, and check it at different times of the day (and with different things switched on and off) to get an idea of what uses lots of energy in your home, and when. Even if you give it back a week later, you'll be far more aware of your energy consumption, and that awareness will save you energy. Lending those things out is a seriously good idea.
