Who is Eligible:
FortisBC electricity customer
Description:
Consumers who purchase a qualifying ENERGY STAR® certified clothes washer, dryer and/or refrigerator by December 31, 2017 could receive a $50 or $100 rebate from FortisBC.
Steps to Get this Rebate:
1. Review the program terms and conditions.
2. Purchase and pay for your qualifying appliance by December 31, 2017.
3. Apply online for your rebate with the following information:
-your FortisBC or municipal electricity account number from Grand Forks, Penticton, Summerland or Nelson Hydro
-your email
-scanned copies of all paid receipts (Make sure they are clear, legible, itemized and indicate all relevant information such as the brand, model number and any other required information for your application.)
4. The rebate will appear as a bill credit on your FortisBC electricity bill. Customers in Grand Forks, Penticton, Summerland and Nelson will receive a cheque. Applications may take up to 90 days to process.
