    Hi Jessica -

Your building should be eligible for funding through a federal government program called the ecoENERGY Retrofit Incentive for Buildings (a program for multi-unit apartment buildings).

The government website with information on the program says that you can get up $50,000 in grants, but it depends on what improvements are made to the building (which can include installing new windows).

    Here’s my advice:

    (1) Call 1-877-360-5500 to speak with someone, and get the application forms.

    (2) Check out the Retrofit for Buildings Incentive website for information on the program.

    Hope this helps.

We replaced all of the windows in our home last year and did not know about the energy rebate. Would we stll be eligible or has that “boat sailed” ? The old windows were original to the home about 30 years old. I still have the receipt for the new windows.
    Thanks
    Christa
