Province/Territory: British Columbia [Lower Mainland - East Kootenays (Columbia) - Interior (Inland) - Fort Nelson]

Rebate Amount: $250

Description: Get a $250 credit on your Terasen Gas bill when you upgrade your natural gas furnace or boiler to a high-efficiency ENERGY STAR natural gas heating system. Note that this offer is not available to residents of Vancouver Island, the Sunshine Coast, Squamish, Whistler or Powell River.

Steps to Get This Rebate:

  1. Get the furnace installed by a B.C. Safety Authority registered gas contractor. Contractors can be found here.
  2. Submit the application form. Include with the application form:
    • Installation invoice(s)
    • Copy of the gas permit
  3. You'll receive the rebate on your gas bill.

    I tried to view the rebate form, it could not be found according to the link.

    I am having the same problem with downloading the form.

    Also, although this website says the program is ongoing, I just spoke with someone from Terasen gas who informed me that the program ended December 2009.

    How frustrating!
