Rebate Amount: Reduced-interest loan up to $7,500 per home

Description: Get a reduced-interest loan when you implement any of the following energy saving renovations:

  • adding insulation
  • installing ventilation
  • sealing air leaks
  • replacing windows and doors
  • upgrading lighting, electrical service and wiring
  • upgrading or replacing heating systems.
Renovations must meet detailed specifications. The maximum loan is $7,500 and the minimum is $500. The annual fixed interest rate is 6.5%. No down payment is required. The maximum term is 60 months. Monthly installments are included on the customer's energy bill.

    lots of great info on the power smart program and all it’s features. But try and find a phone number to contact, to get an application. Had to sift through a lot of repetive info on a lot of diffrent pges. Finally got lucky and hit this sight which states CLEARLY what number to call. WHEW !!!!!

    I don,t think 6.5% interest is a good deal for the average homeowner.Nothing reduced there.
